Valentijn has considerable experience in public-private partnerships (PPPs), public procurement, administrative contracts, public entities, projects and public and administrative law. His clients include contractors, contracting authorities and banks in Belgium and across Europe.

Valentijn is a regular speaker at conferences on public law and PPPs, and has written various articles on public procurement and PPPs. Valentijn has been registered at the Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten of the Brussels Bar since 2005. Prior to joining Loyens & Loeff, Valentijn worked as a senior associate in an international law firm.
Valentijn holds a Master in law from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium, 2004) and a Master of arts in EU law from the College of Europe (Belgium).
