About Thomas Verstraeten
Thomas’ practice includes EU and Belgian competition law and regulatory law, with special focus on the energy sector. He has broad experience in filing merger control notifications with the Belgian competition authority and the European Commission. He assists clients in cartel procedures and abuse of dominance cases and has represented them in state aid procedures before the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the European Union. He has considerable experience in energy law, renewable energy projects and litigation regarding regulatory decisions of energy regulators.
