About Thomas Chellingsworth
Thomas’ practice covers numerous legal aspects of the energy sector, with a focus on sectoral regulations and contract negotiation. He advises on offshore and onshore energy projects and drafts and negotiates PPAs, construction contracts (often FIDIC-based) and O&M agreements. He advises on subsidy mechanisms, submarine and underground cables and closed distribution systems. He represents parties in civil, administrative and constitutional litigation. Thomas is recognised as a leading lawyer in his field of expertise by Chambers & Partners Europe and Legal 500. He is also recognised as an expert in energy law by the Best Lawyers guide (2017).
